Alexander Maconochie Centre – Bulk Stores & Gatehouse Upgrade

This project involves the internal demolition of the visitor reception/waiting area of the Gatehouse and the construction of a new visitor security processing stream with the aim being to separate staff from the public. Along with this is the extension of the building envelope and the construction of a new enclosed reception and visitor waiting area.

A new 300m² shed has been constructed at the Bulk Stores area along with a 180m2 covered awning so that goods can be unloaded in all-weather events. This new high bay storage area will hold white goods and consumables for the AMC and is being constructed to further extend their storage capacities.
