New education facility for the Research School of Earth Sciences incorporating academic office spaces, teaching spaces, lecture rooms, plantrooms and utility areas. The new building was constructed throughout 2011 across 3 floors to a GFA of 1500m2 and in addition a secure basement level for unique storage of fossils, rocks and dry materials for scientific research. The project included a competed turnkey handover, incorporating furniture, fittings and equipment and audio visual services to the new teaching spaces. A unique façade was constructed thought use of brick patterning to replicate a rock fossil aesthetic across the face of the new building.
