Costco Wholesale Canberra

  Costco Wholesale Canberra is a 14,000m² membership warehouse located in the Majura Precinct at the northern end of Canberra International Airport. The project incorporates a Main Warehouse, Freshfood Line, Foodservices area, Optometrist, Hearing-Aid area, Tyre Centre, office space, Staff Break-out areas and external parking facilities.   The structure is steel frame with sheet metal roofing and cladding. The pivotal item of the interior finishes is the burnished slab-on-ground which has been poured in an uncontrolled environment and therefore required its own concrete mix design. The project was delivered within six months.
