Stretching over half a city block, Mode 3 is a premium grade development, which combines lifestyle, business and retail areas. Spread over six floors the development comprises 115 residential units (9,584m²) offering one, two and three bedroom options, 3,409m² of office space, 2,411m² of retail space and four split levels of basement car parking.
The buildings architecture references Braddon’s industrial past with the use of steel, exposed concrete, large glass facades, galvanized corrugated sheeting and timber. The Lonsdale Streetscape is dominated by large polished precast concrete blades that clearly projects the buildings structural grid. The main entries and arcades are marked with brightly coloured M³ symbols that contrast the dark precast and enable residents to identify the closest entry to their apartment through these colour coded elements.
