ANU Research School of Social Science (RSSS)

The facility is a 12,000m2 purpose-built building for the Research School of Social Sciences (RSSS) under the keystone College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS). The building included 300+ individual offices, large auditorium teaching space and adaptable tutorial rooms.

 

The built form is a 6 storey “square donut” concrete structure with full curtain wall façade to all elevations. There is basement and roof-top plant, end of trip facilities and large open central courtyard area. Construction Control successfully delivered the project for the ANU, working closely with the end users, design team and subcontractor network to deliver a state-of-the-art facility that will attract future academics.
